Veterinarian and owner of Bayvet

Qualified in South Africa in 1985 and has owned 2 practices there before emigrating to New Zealand with his family and purchasing Bayvet from Allan Rapley in 2001. He is married to Glenda, they have  2 children, a Labrador, a Jack Russell and an Abbysinian that rules the roost. Kit has an interest in orthopaedic surgery.

Head nurse / morning receptionist

Joined Bayvet in 1997.She has a diploma in Veterinary nursing passed with distinction.She is our head Nurse and can usually be seen with her poodle Frankie at the clinic. Her Labrador Coruba stays home to look after her menagerie of almost 100 pets including 12 cats. Debbie has a keen interest in Rabbits and other small animals and has done extensive breeding with Flemish giant rabbits. She is often heard giving husbandry advice to rabbit and guinea pig owners.

Nurse / evening receptionist

Has been a Vet Nurse at Bayvet since 2000.

She has a schnauzer x called Rosie who is often seen at Bayvet keeping mum company.

Theatre nurse

Joined Bayvet 2006. She has a diploma with merit in animal welfare and canine behaviour and training. She runs our puppy school and also does one on one behaviour training on her days off. She has a huntaway x called Rufus - who is always with her and a cat called Cujo looking after things at home. When relaxing at home Sam loves riding her horse called Bonnie.

Evening receptionist / nurse

Joined Bayvet in 1996. She only works part time but is an important member of the clinic. She has a diploma in Vet nursing and has a very keen interest in canine behaviour and helped set up our puppy school before Sam arrived. She has a Shepherd called Caesar (after Cesar Milan) and 2 Pomeranians as well as a cat.
